About the Role As industries shift towards cleaner energy and sustainable practices, ICIS supports businesses to navigate the challenges of energy transition, plastic circularity, and sustainability. We are now looking for a forward-thinking consultant to join our growing team and help accelerate the success of our strategy and transactions consulting team.
In this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the refining and chemical industries and a passion for driving sustainable change. You will collaborate with industry leaders and financial institutions to influence the future of the energy and chemical industries.

Responsibilities Execution and delivery of consulting projects to meet and exceed profitability targetsResearch of energy and chemical value chains (primary and secondary research)Development of analysis for market, pricing, competitiveness and economic assessments for project feasibility and transaction supportLiaison with other functions in ICIS as part of project deliveryPreparation of clear and well-written reports and presentations and interactions with clients as neededDevelopment and maintenance of consulting and analytical modelsMaintain a fundamental working knowledge of the ICIS data, analytics and toolsSupport business development and proposals, working with senior consultants and the leadership teamContribute to the ICIS brand through the delivery of high-value work and the promotion of ICIS insights externallyAbility to travel on an ad-hoc basisRequirements Knowledge of the oil refining/petrochemical sector and market fundamentals, with a degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant degreeAble to rationalise, solve and communicate answers to complex problemsExcellent communication skills in both verbal and written formCan work independently as well as in teams, is organised and possesses project management skillsAbility to collaborate and influence others within a high-performance cultureSkilled in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPointA driven, passionate and motivated contributor centred on providing value to the client#LI-Hybrid
