The roleA Consultant in Teneo's Strategy team is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to our clients.
They play a key role in delivering quality work, overseeing more junior team members and ensuring agreed timelines on client projects are met.
Consultants also play a critical role in mentoring and helping to upskill junior colleagues, and work into and learn from our Senior Consultants, Associate Directors, Managing Directors and senior leadership.
Teams are built around individual projects and vary based on project scope and clients' needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the management of projects, including timeline, resource and budgets; with a forward view to anticipate needs and potential issuesFind and apply the right research methodologies in response to a client challenge, where applicable and required, conduct immersion interviews, moderate focus groups and draft discussion guidesPlay a key role in analysing and interpreting research (qual and quant), and drive the process from distilling research into insightPlay a leading role in workshops / presentations, presenting back insights and helping to facilitate client discussionsQuickly become a subject matter expert for our clientsBuild a strong network of effective relationships internally and externallyStay well informed and share knowledge with teams and clientsSeek opportunities for organic growth and support on writing business proposalsSkills and experienceA minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a mixed-methods research agency or similarAbility to analyse primary quantitative data using Excel, draw out the most interesting insights, and weave them into logical and compelling stories with clear strategic imperativesAbility to moderate qualitative research, including focus groups, triads and depth interviewsConfidence in supporting all aspects of the quantitative research process, including sample specs, survey writing, data specs and reading data tablesHaving a theoretical understanding of statistical analyses techniques, such as significance testing, regression, segmentation and conjoint, and when to use themAcademic training in the measurement of public attitudes and behaviours, in disciplines such as psychology, political science, marketing, statistics or economics considered a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsExcellent proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to act as a role model to junior colleaguesAppetite to build their own skills and knowledgeEnthusiasm about research and insightA positive, flexible and ambitious team playerWhat we can offerNew joiners are supported by an induction programmes, and continuous development is a key focus of life at Teneo - learning and knowledge sharing are at the heart of this.
