Consultant Psychiatrist Tasmania

Search are currently recruiting for a permanent Consultant for a lovely private hospital based in Tasmania, Australia. This role involves working in a 26-bed private hospital with patients aged 18 and above, primarily focusing on mood disorders and some substance misuse.

Duties of the role are as follows:
Preliminary review of referrals as part of the clinic's intake and triage processes.Clinical admission assessments.Psychiatric diagnosis.Psychiatric treatment plans.Administration of relevant psychiatric therapies as appropriate.Medical practitioner review consults.Medical discharge summaries.Formal handover of clinical care and referral to other medical practitioners as required.
Skills and experience:
Recent experience working with mood disorder patients aged 18 and above.
