The Role:The Neuropsychiatry service in Northampton has an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to develop and strengthen their experience whilst having the chance to develop research and clinical ideas.

We currently have a full-time position covering Tallis and Redwood, however, we would consider part-time applicants who can cover one of the wards. A 12-bed inpatient care and rehabilitation unit for adult men who have an acquired/traumatic brain injury and who experience complex behavioural, psychiatric and emotional difficulties.
Tallis is a specialist admission and stabilisation unit for adult men with a formal psychiatric or neurological diagnosis of brain injury that may have resulted in cognitive deficits or behavioural changes that in turn require neurobehavioral treatment in an inpatient setting.
Redwood: Redwood is a 10-bed ward and part of our specialist dementia hub.
The setting represents a significant step forward in the care and support of people with dementia who present with complex behaviours or may have restrictions imposed by the MHA or criminal justice service.
