Main duties of the jobCygnet Views (DE4 3JP) is a 10 bed high dependency complex care service for women with learning disabilities, associated complex needs, and who may have behaviours that challenge.
Cygnet Manor (NG20 8BA) is a high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs, and who may have behaviours that challenge.
Job responsibilitiesIn this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment, fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team.
And you'll have the opportunity to progress to Medical Director level through our management schemes.
Your role responsibilities Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)Take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans in conjunction with the MDTAssess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service usersUndertake appropriate investigations, diagnosis & treatmentParticipate in ward rounds & clinical auditsLead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management & embed clinical governanceSupervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals & managers hearings & attend hearingsParticipate in the 1 in 8 telephone on-call rotaWhy Cygnet?
