Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for our medium secure women's service, Stonegate, with 12 women.
The LD and A services of Stockton Hall were accredited by the prestigious National Autistic Society in November 2023, demonstrating our commitment to be the best in class.
Main duties of the jobYou will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.Have experience working with women in a secure service.The role will include participation in our on-call rota (non-residential).About usWe offer a wide range of specialist services including mental illness, neurodevelopmental disorder, learning disability, and female medium secure services.
Our treatment is facilitated by a well-resourced, multi-disciplinary group of clinicians.

Job responsibilitiesIf you are successful, you will be expected to complete a full two weeks induction upon starting with us at Priory, and these occur on the first two weeks of every month.
Person SpecificationQualificationsYou must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
