We are seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join the team in a new Medium secure women's unit in York located within the grounds of a 112 bedded private Hospital.
You will be part of a newly refurbished building on a brand new ward, purpose-built for female secure patients.
The caseload is for 12 women and you will have the full support of the non-medical prescribers and Residential doctors providing input and admin team to assist you in managing these patients.
What you need: You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry.
Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.
Have experience working with women in a secure service.
The role will include participation in our on-call rota (non-residential).
What's on Offer: Salary of £180,000.
Flexible Working considered (depending on caseload; Consultants carry a full-time equivalent case load of 12 - 16 patients).
Non-residential on-call responsibilities (1:7).
