CONSULTANT IN GENERAL ADULT PSYCHIATRY WALTON WARD, PSYCHIATRY INTENSIVE CARE UNIT Unity Centre, Fieldhead Hospital, Ouchthorpe Lane, Wakefield, WF1 3SP Full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week plus 1 additional PA subject to annual job plan review for flexibility and acuity (part time may be considered) The successful candidate will be part of the out of hours on-call consultant rota (1 in 15) and paid at 3% on call supplement SWYT offer an increased starting salary for newly appointed Consultants to the Trust.
Starting pay point YC72 point 04 equivalent to £105,390 South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Psychiatry Intensive Care Unit (PICU) based at Fieldhead Hospital, Ouchthorpe Lane, Wakefield.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the Wakefield Acute Care Pathway.
Walton PICU Ward is a 14-bed adult psychiatry intensive care unit (PICU) based at the Unity Centre, Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield.

Person Specification Experience Essential Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise or be in a position to have a licence to practice on commencement in the post.
Included on the GMC Specialist Register for General Psychiatry, or within six months of gaining CCT.
Approved or eligible clinician status.
Approved or eligible under S12.
Desirable In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
