The hospital is based in the South Leeds areas and has 40 beds over 3 wards.
The hospital has an experienced medical and multidisciplinary team that support patients with acute mental health needs.
The role of Consultant in Adult Psychiatry is based on a PICU ward and you would be the responsible clinician for 12 patients.
Responsibilities of the role include: Working on a 12 bed PICU Ward Offering leadership and guidance as well as being Responsible Clinician for patients Leading the MDT team and liaising with external professionals and ensure quality standards for all patients Delivering high quality care to patients and families Providing care to all patients on the ward with the support of a specialty doctor and team of physical health specialists Attending MHA meetings and completion of MHA reports Working alongside a junior doctor and MDT who support the ward Details: Working Full Time, 40 hours per week Experience in Adult or Forensic Psychiatry Must hold Section 12 and AC status Permanent Contract with Various payment methods available.
