Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Mental Health (Acute Inpatient)Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust There is a vacancy for a full-time (10PA) consultant post to work in Cedar Ward, a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at West Park Hospital in Darlington.

Cedar Ward is one of two PICUs within the trust, taking referrals for patients from Durham, Darlington, Easington, Northallerton, and Harrogate.
The unit provides psychiatric intensive inpatient care to acutely unwell and disturbed clients, aged 16-65 years, requiring high levels of care.
Main Duties of the Job Cedar Ward provides a multi-disciplinary service for clients whose psychiatric condition necessitates treatment in a controlled environment.
The unit emphasises team working and is committed to Force Reduction drivers and enhancing the client experience of care.
