Consultant Psychiatrist Female Acute Ward

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join a team in Carlisle, working within a female acute ward setting.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for overseeing the psychiatric care of patients within the acute ward, developing individualized treatment plans, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
You will have the opportunity to shape clinical services, support staff development, and drive the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities: Lead psychiatric assessments and diagnosis for women on the acute ward Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for each patient Provide expert clinical guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and other team members Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to ensure integrated care Offer psychiatric support for mental health and crisis management, including medication management Key Requirements: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a valid license to practice Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
