Summary: We are looking to work collaboratively with a Consultant Psychiatrist to support our exclusive private service.
The Consultant will work on a sessional basis, providing flexible capacity to support our private outpatient and inpatient services.
About Ticehurst House: Ticehurst House currently provides 59 adult beds for those needing inpatient mental health services, 9 of these beds are on Highlands ward, a comfortable private house set in the grounds, supporting those who elect to self-fund or have access to private medical insurance.
Our private clients choose Highlands because of its beautiful and peaceful location set in acres of countryside.
The successful Consultant will work collaboratively with colleagues at Ticehurst to assess referrals, provide supporting outpatient services, and have Practicing Privileges to admit to Highlands if required.
All Consultants also have access to exclusive outpatient rooms and a range of private outpatient therapy services for suitable referrals.
Services are fully staffed, with highly experienced Nursing, Medical, and Therapy colleagues over a 2-hour period.
The Opportunity: Working with Priory at Ticehurst House will provide the opportunity to grow your private practice.
You can work in an exceptionally experienced team within one of the largest mental health providers in the UK.
The role may involve participation in an on-call rota for the private unit, supporting our existing robust 24-hour clinical support arrangements.
Sessional working offers you flexibility.
You will work on a private basis known as a Visiting Consultant and provided with full Practice Privileges to supply outpatient services on a per appointment/client basis.
This type of arrangement allows you the opportunity to work flexibly alongside other clinical commitments.
