Millbank is searching for a Public Affairs Consultant (Freelance) to join our team.

As a Public Affairs Consultant at Millbank, you'll have the unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts and support our clients in navigating the ever-evolving policy landscape.
Our comprehensive training program ensures that you'll receive guidance and mentorship every step of the way, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field.
Key Responsibilities: Provide timely political information and intelligence to a diverse portfolio of clients through live coverage, alerts, and reports; Attend and cover live events, parliamentary proceedings, speeches, and press conferences; Collaborate with senior team members to maintain consistent service levels; Conduct research to support our clients' strategic objectives; Contribute to comprehensive briefings and event coverage for key political milestones throughout the year; and Assist in keeping our databases up-to-date with the latest movements across government and parliamentary bodies.
Your Profile: A strong understanding and interest in UK politics and the political process; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate insights under tight deadlines; Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail; Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously; and A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and growth.
