This post will be based in the paediatricdepartment of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS foundation trust.
Thepostholder will work as an integral member of the Neurodisability team andcontribute to service developments.The Directorateof Paediatrics offers service across Sunderland and South Tyneside and includesneonatology, general paediatrics, community paediatrics as well as paediatricemergency medicine.
Timetablesoffer a degree of flexibility in that the type of clinic activity is negotiableas allowed by service needs and the experience and skills of the successfulpostholder.

Overallresponsibilities include contributing to the co-ordination and delivery of thestrategic and operational aspects of the service across the South Tyneside andSunderland area.

Qualifications Essential Hold a CCST or CCT in Paediatrics and be on the GMCs Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of being admitted to the GMCs Specialist Register.
Membership of RCPCH.
Desirable Have been involved in academic research as part of their training and have both presented and published peer reviewed articles.
Possess further qualifications in teaching or educational supervision.
Experience Essential ND grid training or relevant and recent experience of ND work.
Desirable Have experience in the development of a multidisciplinary group for clinical service provision.
