The Trust currently provides Ophthalmology outpatient services at Oldham Integrated care centre, Rochdale Infirmary, and Fairfield General Hospital.
All day case surgical activity takes place at Rochdale Infirmary.

This post requires cross-site working, providing outpatient clinics from different sites and surgical work from mainly Rochdale Infirmary.
The advertised posts will complement a team of 10 Consultants, 4 Associate specialists, 2 specialty doctors, and 5 junior clinical fellows.
This appointment of 10 PAs will be made in accordance with the 2003 Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions.
We are looking for candidates who are/will be on the Specialist Register / Admission to the Register within 6 months of interview (CCST or CCT in Ophthalmology) or willing to complete the CESR within 12 months of employment.
The Job Description indicates the main duties of the post, which may be reviewed in light of experience and developments within the service.
Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post holder.
Main Responsibilities: Leadership and development of ophthalmic subspecialty work.
A broad knowledge of Ophthalmology, including sub-specialty experience and knowledge of Glaucoma to complement existing services.
