We are equipped with the latest technology in our purpose built Eye Centre with 4 eye theatres, eye wards, outpatients and eye emergency department.

Bournemouth is a vibrant university town attracting British and overseas students.Applicants will have a principal interest in macula, and will be expected to contribute to the cataract services.
They should have a desire to teach and will be expected to participate in clinical audit and governance.
Enthusiasm to pursue clinical research is desirable.
They will be required to undertake management duties and work in a multidisciplinary team.

You will be applying to join a team of 14 consultants covering all subspecialties, associate specialists, Trust grade doctors and Wessex Deanery specialist registrars.

Participation in the 1 in 8 second on-call rota is essential.
