RBH is the designated major acute and emergency hospital in Dorset housing the Eye Centre where the posts are mainly based, and Poole Hospital is the major planned care hospital.

Applicants will have a principal interest in macula and will be expected to contribute to the cataract services.
They should have a desire to teach and will be expected to participate in clinical audit and governance.
Enthusiasm to pursue clinical research is desirable.

Participation in the 1 in 8 second on-call rota is essential.
