Job Description Job Overview We are looking for a Consultant to join the Department of Rheumatology at the James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to cover a period of maternity leave.
The appointee will be an individual with enthusiasm, strong self-motivation, and the skills necessary to contribute to the development of our patient-centered rheumatology service.
The post-holder will form part of a multidisciplinary team approach to care within the specialty.
The post-holder will be responsible for the maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of all patients under their team.
The appointee will be sharing with medical, nursing, and administrative colleagues, responsibility for the day-to-day management of Rheumatic diseases.
The appointee will share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Rheumatology Department.
Rheumatology (jpaget.nhs.uk) Main duties of the job The appointee will be expected to provide clinical and administrative service in Rheumatology, including outpatient clinics, support of specialist nurses and day treatment, and seeing inpatient referrals.
