Main duties of the job To work with Consultant colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that the team and department delivers a high quality, well led service for Emergency patients attending Harrogate & District Foundation Trust.We are looking for an exceptional individual who has the ability, skills and vision to support and lead our excellent team of junior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff to improve our services to the benefit of patients and colleagues working within the Emergency department.Our Type 1 care is based at Harrogate Hospital (~55,000 attendances) and we also have a satellite MIU for Type 3 care in nearby Ripon.
There will be Consultants/Specialist Doctors working per day, 16 WTE Tier 3 Clinicians and a combination of Tier 1 clinicians, Tier 2 clinicians, ACPs and clinical fellows delivering the rest of the rota.
