The ideal candidate will have experience running their own matters as well as assisting more senior associates and partners with cases.
The role requires providing high-quality, commercial advice to a variety of clients including developers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and construction professionals.About YouEssential Experience:- Managing own caseload while assisting senior associates and partners.- Delivering commercial, client-focused advice to developers and construction professionals.- Experience in contentious construction matters, including adjudications and TCC work.- Strong client relationship management skills.- Strong academic record, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification.Desirable Experience:- Exposure to non-contentious construction matters.- Business development experience.- Presentation skills.Knowledge and SkillsThe successful candidate will be able to:- Manage their own caseload effectively.- Conduct financial housekeeping for their work.- Conduct client meetings in person and remotely.- Analyze legal issues, provide advice, and manage costs and scope of work.- Draft legal documents and letters of advice.- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments.- Work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
