Job Title: Construction Skills Tutor Location: East of England, Norfolk, Norwich Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Per annum Hours:  Monday – Thursday, 7:45 am – 5:00 pm; Friday, 7:45 am – 12:30 pm   We are currently seeking a Construction Tutor to join our team at HMP Norwich.
In this role, you will design, prepare, and deliver a variety of lessons to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in the Construction industry.
You'll also provide guidance on vocational and employability skills, including English, Maths, Digital Literacy, and personal development, supporting learners throughout their educational journey.
As part of the role, you will contribute to the development and refinement of quality-approved schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials tailored to both classroom-based and employer-led courses.
Your primary focus will be to facilitate engaging and effective teaching, learning, and assessment that inspire learners to complete their programs and achieve positive employment outcomes.
You'll deliver Construction training, helping learners achieve CSCS certification, alongside employability support.
By developing innovative learning resources and adaptable teaching strategies, you will ensure the training aligns with course objectives and learners' needs.
Ultimately, your efforts will encourage and enable participants to stay engaged and transition successfully into the workforce.
  To qualify:  Level 3 Teaching qualification – e.g.
AET / PTLLS/ CertEd (Essential) Assessing qualification L3 or equivalent (desirable) Health and Safety qualification at L3 or above Construction trades employment background with experience of at least 2 years   Why Join Us?
