A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the success of a significant new education facility in Omagh, Tyrone.
This role is a unique opportunity to oversee a high-profile project, manage dynamic site operations, and lead a talented team.
With a proven track record in project management, the ideal candidate will combine their technical knowledge and leadership abilities to ensure a safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and schedules, managing all phases from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Resource Management: Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on-site, adjusting resource allocation to meet evolving project needs efficiently.
Health & Safety Oversight: Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting regular site safety audits.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control project costs, and report financial progress to senior management, ensuring profitability.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records and reports on project progress, quality control, and any site-related issues.
Qualifications & Experience Required: Previous experience as a Project Manager on large scale projects.
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams.
Proficiency with project management and site management software.
Benefits Package: Competitive Salary: £70,000 - £80,000, based on experience and qualifications.
