Job Description The Job Mission As a Construction Planner , you will play a critical role in the MEH (Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC) planning team at Hinkley Point C. Collaborating closely with project delivery teams, you'll develop, manage, and optimise construction schedules to ensure successful project outcomes.
? Develop detailed construction schedules for MEH phases, integrating all programme aspects.
? Conduct integrated schedule reviews, optimising resource-loaded schedules for efficient delivery.
? Manage and update planning data within digital toolsets to support project delivery.
? Align site construction activities with MEH schedules to ensure seamless execution.
? Advocate for safe, effective planning of construction works with a focus on nuclear safety.
? Work with 4D tools to create animated schedule sequences and enhance construction coordination.
? Communicate resource, material, and schedule requirements to key project stakeholders.
? Support lessons learned for future project improvements and execution.
Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills Expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction processes and their integration.
In-depth experience in programme progress, forecasting, and planning.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams effectively.
Familiarity with planning, programming, and progress monitoring methods.
Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and labour needs.
Desired Skills ? ? Understanding of NEC Alliance and similar contract forms.
? Basic understanding of estimating principles.
? Familiarity with advanced 4D planning and coordination tools.
