Construction Design and Planning Teacher Are you a practicing Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineer looking to pass on your knowledge and skills to the future generation of Quantity Surveyors and Civil Engineers?
Activate Learning is recruiting for a Design and Planning professional to join our Engineering and Construction team based at Guildford College.
This is a part-time (14.75 hours per week), permanent position.
About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Design and Planning professional to deliver the T Level courses which will be part of the regrowth of professional construction at our Guildford College campus.
This new style of qualification will help to fill the skills gaps locally, nationally and worldwide and includes a meaningful work placement in a relevant industry potentially leading to an apprenticeship.
The teaching, training and assessment of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the Group.
You will teach and manage one or more courses or groups of students and be responsible for the delivery and development of their curriculum, ensuring that students have an excellent experience throughout all stages of their learner journey.
What do you need to be a successful Design and Planning professional at Activate Learning?
As a Design and Planning professional, you will have a recognised qualification in either Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering along with the ability to teach and train our ambitious learners enabling them to develop their skills during their T Level programme.
You will be able to demonstrate the right attributes and behavioural skills that are aligned to our award-winning philosophy to encourage and enable our learners to achieve their full potential, preventing barriers to learning using different techniques to ensure our learners are equipped to succeed.
