Construction I nternal Quality Assessor The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Stanfords Training Ltd, based in Birmingham, is seeking a vibrant, committed and high achieving NVQ/QCF Internal Quality Assurer to monitor, support assessors with assessing judgments and providing training and development support within the construction sector.
The Internal Quality Assurer must have achieved a D32, D33 and 34 or V1 award and have a high level and up to date competence and understanding of the construction occupational area and the apprenticeship standard.
Key Responsibilities: Review and validate the assessments carried out by trainers and assessors to ensure they meet industry standards.
Design, develop and deliver an individual programme of training and assessment to ensure successful completion of the apprentices individual learning plan within the planned duration.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of training and assessment processes, providing feedback for improvement.
Ensure that all assessments comply with the relevant awarding body regulations and national standards.
Maintain accurate records of assessments and verifications, including reports on performance and improvement plans.
Provide guidance and training to assessors on best practices in assessment and verification Offer support to apprentices regarding assessment processes and standards Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials and assessment practices Companys policies including Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety Policies.
Incorporate into the role the philosophy, values and behaviour stated in the Company Mission and Strategic Plans.
Promote within the Company a positive approach to security and discipline.
Undertake any other responsibilities commensurate with the grade of the post, which the Managing Director or their senior management representative may from time to time require Skills and Qualifications: Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of relevant qualifications and standards Strong organizational and communication skills An Internal Verifier qualification (such as IV or V1) CAVA / A1 assessor award Level 3 Teacher Qualification/PTLLS Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in assessment and verification.
