The role of Construction Administrator is to maintain a well organised infrastructure and office administration.
To support all teams, including Directors' Project Manager, Design Team and Project Team.
You will also be required to respond to all incoming calls, passing on or taking messages as required. This role is 5 days a week at our Head Office in Gillingham Business Park. Role Responsibilities: Manage material boards Assist the Design & Quality team with Building Control documentation as directed Assist with office administration including post, paperwork, filing, scanning and photocopying as directed by the Senior Design Co-ordinator Assist Compliance Officer with O&M Compilation during busy period Provide cover for other Administrators (QCQA, Senior Design Co-ordinator) as directed by Senior Design Co-ordinator Manage the Design Tracker Dealing with outsources IT company on a daily basis reporting new issues,changes, network problems etc.
Assist in setting up desktops, laptops, ipads, mobile phones as directed.
Assist with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving.
Help install and improve computer software and network equipment.
New Recruits Administration set up of PC or Laptop with support from outsources IT company.
Set up computers for new users and ensure delivery of equipment to users in different locations if necessary.
Update company phone lists and email address books.
Update asset list.
Source and order IT Equipment.
Train new starters on software/programmes.
Minute taking of meetings General office administration Liaise with Temporary works and structural engineer consultants.
Raising design Purchase Orders and chasing in reports.
Uploading to Sharepoint & Asite, where directed.
Assisting the Directors Project Manager as part of the support team in carrying out administration tasks for the Projects team.
Be the central point of contact for new investigation work within Lawtech, to be supported and guidance given by the Directors Project Manager.
Provide cover for the Compliance Officer, Training Administrator, QCQA Administrator, Design Administrator and IT administrator under the direction of the Directors Project Manager at holiday and peak periods as directed.
Skills & Qualifications Advanced user Microsoft Outlook email and calendars and MS Word.
Competent user MS Excel.
Attention to detail and analytical approach.
Excellent English language skills, dealing with telephone calls, visitors, and emails appropriately.
Competent user Project Probe (training to be given) Communication.
General administration experience Construction experience is beneficial Working together effectively.
