Conflict Analyst (Ftc)

Inventum are working with a global law firm on a new intake of conflict analysts.
This role is a 12-month FTC within the NBI (New Business Intake team).
The department is charged with investigating legal conflicts of interest and firm business issues.
If conflicts of interest or business issues are identified, the department is charged with rectifying those issues prior to the matter being approved by a partner on the Ethics Committee.
Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for the review of new business intake requests and collatingthe results of preliminary conflicts checks, including resolution and clearance of conflict of interest issues; Assist with the research of new client matters, including the resolution and clearance of conflict of interest of such matters, as needed; Assist in coding of engagement letters pursuant to established guidelines and documenting of such actions in the conflicts database; Assist Attorneys in the identification and resolution of conflicts of interest, which, includes coordinating receipt and documentation of and preparation of engagement letters and client waivers and/or consents; Assist in securing the approvals of new matters from the Ethics Committee and all other levels of Firm Administration as governed by firm policy guidelines; Essential: Direct Conflicts analytics experience Research and analytics Attention to detail Working to strict deadlines Desirable: Law Firm Experience
