Compliance Manager

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom We are seeking a proactive Compliance Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance EHS performance and mitigate risks within Operations.
Stay updated with evolving EHS regulations and standards, adapting policies and practices as needed.
Support the development and implementation of global EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Contribute to the development and delivery of EHS training programs.
Support customer audits, presentations, and respond to Request-for-Information (RFIs) as needed.
Monitor and report EHS metrics, incidents, and trends to senior leadership.
Conduct regular audits to identify potential EHS risks and address non-compliance issues.
Review EHS incidents, independently investigate serious incidents, and manage remedial actions on a regional or global scale if necessary.
Collaborate to maintain certifications in ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO50001.
Actively participate in internal projects and safety campaigns.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an EHS-related field or Engineering.
Qualified in safety at the national level.
Certified Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor in ISO14001 or ISO45001.
Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of EHS regulations, risk, and compliance specific to data center operations.
Ability to navigate complex technical issues and implement innovative solutions to challenging problems.
Proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent writing and presentation skills, with experience in policy and procedure development preferred.
Resilient, agile, decisive, and culturally aware; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
