Compliance Manager Nights £50,000 - £55,000 Kent Job Reference: GG/00936 Overview This is an opportunity to join a very successful food manufacturer.
They are category leading, supply the major retailers including M&S as well as key food services customers.
Reporting to an inspirational Head of Technical, you will work with the night shift Operations Manager to ensure food safety compliance and health and safety compliance on the night shift.
The Role Conduct internal audits and drive improvements based on audit findings, ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
Work with the Shift Operations Manager to ensure compliance, safety, and the achievement of customer expectations across the site.
Ensure the night shift operation meets all regulatory and customer-specific compliance standards, with a focus on food safety, health, and safety requirements.
Provide guidance and input on operational decisions to ensure they align with site-wide compliance protocols and customer expectations.
Monitor site performance against customer expectations, ensuring that any gaps in quality, safety, or compliance are addressed proactively.
Develop an internal auditing programme.
Report to the SLT on audit performance.
The Candidate Experience in a Compliance role within a food manufacturing business.
Ready-to-eat experience is preferable.
Qualifications in Internal Auditing.
Experience in a Food Safety or Health and Safety role (preferably both).
