JOB- Compliance Manager LOCATION- Biggleswade TERM- Permanent SALARY- £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to join our client, a leading machinery manufacturer.
This key role ensures the company's products and processes meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards, driving compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
The Compliance Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Proven experience in a compliance or quality management role within machinery manufacturing or a related sector Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, including CE, UKCA, ISO 9001, and machinery directives Familiarity with health and safety standards, such as PUWER, ATEX, or equivalent Experience in risk assessment, audits, and certification processes Strong project management and leadership skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in compliance and documentation management tools The Compliance Manager role will involve: Leading compliance efforts to ensure products meet national and international standards Managing product certification processes and liaising with regulatory bodies Conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations Developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and documentation Overseeing audits and inspections, both internal and external Providing training and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices Monitoring changes in legislation and implementing necessary updates to company processes Collaborating with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle If you are a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager eager to play a pivotal role in a leading machinery manufacturing organization, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, including your availability and salary expectations.
