We're working with an International Law Firm that is looking for a Compliance Assistant to join their welcoming team in Birmingham.
This role sits within the centralised Business Intake Team and is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in a role that combines legal compliance with critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with reviewing and verifying AML documentation and information.
Conduct research on clients and matters to ensure compliance.
Review and validate information submitted by fee earners and support staff, offering guidance on required documentation.
Handle inquiries from fee earners and support staff, providing support where necessary.
Perform in-depth conflict of interest checks using the Intapp Open database.
Develop a solid understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct rules, including conflicts of interest and confidentiality duties.
Provide assistance with resolving conflicts of interest and related issues as needed The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, and bring a strong work ethic and enthusiasm to the role.
Whether a recent graduate or someone with compliance experience, they need to be
highly organised and ambitious to excel in this role.

A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a client-focused approach, and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
