Compliance Analyst

Details of the offer

Working within close knit compliance team in mid sized Insurance underwriters you will be involved with;
Compliance Monitoring Framework Maintaining an effective compliance monitoring framework including: documentation of the framework; performance of monitoring work; reporting and escalation of findings; identification and implementation of enhancements.
Assisting other members of the Compliance Team in financial crime checks (including sanctions screening and AML checks) and in the management of financial crime risk.
Ensuring compliance with complaints handling procedures and Conduct Risk policy.
Ensuring that policies, procedures and control systems are designed, implemented, communicated and in place for the purpose of achieving compliance with all relevant Lloyd's and external regulatory requirements, and that adherence to these is monitored.
Contribute to reporting on Compliance matters to the Board and relevant Committees.
Providing support and guidance to both Syndicate and Agency business units and to global offices on regulatory and compliance matters as and when they arise.
Assisting members of the Compliance Team with the administration and management of the Annual Compliance Workplan, systems including intranet.
Managing reporting diary ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines and reporting of upcoming and missed deadlines.
Liaising with external parties (such as Lloyd's, FCA, PRA Lloyd's brokers, other Managing Agents, and external service providers) on compliance and regulatory matters.
Accountable for delivering good consumer outcomes within their areas of responsibility, in line with the SMCR and the Conduct Rules You will need
Min 2 years experience in compliance within Insurance or related regulatory/legal environment.
Knowledge of financial crime requirements applicable to UK financial services firms.
Knowledge of and to develop knowledge of FCA Handbook, Lloyd's Byelaws, Regulations and Codes of Conduct and all other relevant external regulatory requirements.
Compliance issues facing Lloyd's managing agencies covering Insurance, reinsurance and reserving practice.
Analytical skills Decision making Relationship Management & Communication skills You should be a Graduate or equivalent
