Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland we are currently looking to recruit Complex Needs Practitioners for our Todhill services in Stevenston, where we support individuals with a variety of different needs such as ongoing Mental Health issues, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Dementia.
We are currently only able to accept applications from male candidates who have a valid drivers licence.
Access to your own car is not necessary however.
This is a Full Time post consisting of 39hrs per week.
This campus has recently undergone a multi-million pound development to provide 21 brand new homes for the people we support and these houses have been designed to respond to the needs and preferences of the people who will live in them as well as to fit in with the surrounding natural environment.
With this development we feel that we have unlocked the full potential of Todhill`s beautiful 105 acre rural site which includes a Day Centre Service offering a range of vocational and fun activities including horticulture, arts and crafts and animal husbandry.

You will be part of a committed team, supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
All of the people supported need full support with all aspects of their life which includes either full support with personal care or prompting with personal care, support with cooking or prompting to cook meals, general household tasks, shopping and attending appointments.
Some people have complex communication needs and we use different communication tools to meet the individuals` needs.
Some of the individuals can get anxious and display challenging behaviour this always tends to be when the person is trying to communicate something.
No care experience is necessary for these positions, but we are also seeking people who have previously worked in this type of service and who are looking to develop their career with an organisation committed to achieving outcomes for the people we support and for our staff.
People with skills in supporting those with autism and learning disabilities or knowledge of borderline personality disorders will find this a great service to be part of.
