We are looking for a support worker to join a fantastic team working with young people with Learning Disabilities in Henley-on-Thames, the salary is £25,500 based on a 37 hour working week with 1 sleep in per week.

The Support Staff empower young people with disabilities to live life to the full.
They give them the opportunity to have experiences and opportunities that they might otherwise never have.
Your duties would include supporting people with disabilities to the highest standard and in line with their support plan, cultural needs and wishes.
Support people with personal care, encourage people to make choices and life decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act requirements.
You will assist and encourage people to engage in everyday, social, leisure and work activities, according to the individual's choice.
You will keep records up to date including meds administration and promote health, safety and well-being of the people supported.
You will work positively with colleagues, families and external organisations and professionals and look for opportunities to increase people's independence.
You will be part of a great team that likes to hear new and fresh ideas on how to improve the service and will bee offered ongoing training and development opportunities.
You must have previous experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities and an NVQ in Health & Social Care would be advantageous.
