We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Aylesbury.
The successful candidate will assist young people between 7 and 25 years old with various special needs and autism, helping them to develop their independence skills as much as possible and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
• Providing personal care and support to young people
• Assisting with daily activities such as meals and medication
• Providing companionship
• Encouraging and promoting independence and choice
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with the team
Requirements:
• Prior experience as a Support Worker or in a related field (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact in their lives
• Ability to work flexible hours and provide on-call support as needed
• Work as part of a team and follow guidelines and procedures
