As a dedicated and qualified First Aid Support Worker , you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the school's medical and first aid provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provision of medical/first aid care to students and staff.
Replenishment and storage of medical supplies.
On-site treatment of minor ailments and injuries.
Maintenance of accurate medical records.
Coordination of first aid packs for school trips and provision of advice to staff members.
Operation of a medical records system and management of student health records.
Liaison with the School Health Nurse for immunization programs and referral of students with special medical needs.
Distribution of health education resources and information to staff and students.
Health Education Distribution:
Operation of a resources store.
Maintenance of medical room notice board.
Dissemination of health information to staff and students.
Liaison with Year Team Leaders on health-related matters.
Requirements: Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Experience in a people-related environment.
Experience working with young people.
Suitability for working with young people.
Knowledge and Skills:

Establishment and maintenance of appropriate relationships with young people.

This position is offered on a maternity cover basis for an anticipated initial period of 10 months.
The successful candidate will undergo child protection vetting and relevant employment checks.
