Team Leader - Home Care at Specialist Care Team   We have been given an exciting opportunity to expand into the Lancaster area and the surrounding areas.

Location: Lancaster and the surrounding area Salary: £28,392 per annum (based on 40 hours @ £13.65 per hour ) Mileage paid at 40p Per mile Protected Day/time off Company phone and laptop Paid every 4 weeks (plus Same Day Pay available) Free DBS / Free Uniform Our ideal candidate is a brilliant team player who loves challenges and takes their work seriously.
You must be self-motivated, and well-organised, plus you will need empathy, respect and excellent communication skills.
This is a client-focused role, so you will be involved in day-to-day client care, but you will also receive office time where you will lead in areas such as support planning and staff development.
  What does the role involve?
As a Team Leader, you will manage your own case load, ensuring service users needs are being met to the highest standard and that people are able to lead fulfilling lives with freedom and choice.
You will spend time working alongside clients so you understand their needs and make sure they are being met.
  Primary responsibilities include: Welcoming new clients to the service, which includes completing assessments and care plans Planning the service for clients (including keeping care plans up to date) Establishing a personal connection with clients (and their team members) to ensure they are happy and content with the service Working directly with clients to meet their care needs Responsible for promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of service users Providing leadership to front-line care staff through supervisions and appraisals Ability to adapt and address situations quickly Being part of the company on-call structure for out of hours What qualifications and experience do you need?
Firstly, we are looking for a customer-focused person who has a commitment to quality of care while achieving business objectives You will be able to plan, implement and assess ideas to improve the lives of our service users It is essential that you have a driving licence and access to a car Previous experience in the care sector is preferred.
