Job summary DurationThe post will be for a 1 year fixed term secondmentwill be considered LocationThe post holder is expected to workwithin Gloucestershire, the ICBs office space is Shire Hall.The Key responsibilities of the rolewould be:Oversee a portfolio of projects to ensure they are planned, managed anddelivered effectively; Develop effective working relationships with a wide range of partnerorganisations to ensure co-ordinated action within community pharmacyintegration projects;Be a key member of the POD team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholdermanagement, both internally and externally, including patient and publicengagement when necessary;Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring,implementation and evaluation of tasks/projects by providing high qualitysupport including complex information and analysis, communications andstakeholder management;Support the POD team to deliver against strategic objectives;To undertake research of best practice delivered elsewhere and be awareof updated and developing national or other external guidance;To collate evidence to support planned community pharmacy integrationagenda projects;Utilise effective transformation, service redesign and projectmanagement techniques (such as process mapping) to ensure effective projectdesign, delivery, implementation and evaluation; Main duties of the job Primary care general practice, communitypharmacy, optometry and dental services, delivers 90% of NHS interactions, faceto face, by phone and online.
The commissioning of NHS community pharmacy wasdelegated to Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in England on 1st April2023 and a number of new services have been launched to increase patient accessto a range of clinical assessment and treatments such as Pharmacy First, BloodPressure Check and Oral Contraception services and more are in development andimplementation stages such as the Community Pharmacy Independent PrescribingPathfinder Programme.This is a keyrole within the clinical transformation of community pharmacy as part of thePrimary Care Directorate.
The role will be integral in supporting system widecollaborative working to facilitate the delivery of several work streamsidentified as part of the community pharmacy integration programme.

Tosupport the POD team with Human resource elements such as assisting with orundertaking recruitment as necessary.Toline-manage allocated staff on a day to day basis, with the support of seniormanager when necessary.

Knowledge Essential Must demonstrate knowledge of the current health system within Gloucestershire, the aims and aspirations of the ICB and current national health policy.
Knowledge of the role of an ICS.
Desirable Equality and Diversity knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues and how personally can make a positive difference to this agenda.
Knowledge of health inequalities.
Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
Experience of data analysis and using information to evaluate and drive improvement.
Experience of developing and delivering improvement and efficiency plans.
Experience in communications and stakeholder management.
Desirable Experience in project management, including needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation and understanding of project management methodologies.
At least 2 years experience of working in commissioning, and / or health services planning within the public sector.
Experience of collaborative working across organisations.
Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
Personal Attributes Essential Must be able to demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and confidence.
Able to be tenacious and follow through on multiple strands of work simultaneously, and in the face of competing pressures and demands.
