Come and join one of the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams within Ipswich and play your part in keeping patients safe and well within the comforts of their own homes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams covering Ipswich West & Ipswich East.
We are looking to recruit Community Nurses on a permanent basis for a full time position, part-time hours would also be considered.
These are diverse caseloads which are lead by a band 7 clinical lead and three full-time band 6 senior nurses.
We are fortunate to be co-located with our other community nursing, therapy and social care colleagues as well as our out of hours nursing and therapy colleagues.
We also enjoy the benefits of having the post graduate education team and legacy nurse to support in achieving the community specific clinical skills.
The service is delivered between 8am and 6pm 7 days a week.
Many of the 8 INT teams are co-located with our social care colleagues and wider MDT providing huge benefits to patient outcomes.
An improved INT structure has allowed for huge advances in not just delivering frontline care but a concentration on making longer term health and social care plans through local data and the development of local delivery plans.
Main duties of the job The INT's cover both beautiful rural geographical areas as well as the more urban population of the local towns providing holistic and sometimes complex nursing care within people's homes.You will not only be working alongside other Community and District Nurses but also with a larger team of skilled Generic Support Workers, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists, social workers, independence wellbeing practitioners, social prescriber, Matron, care co-ordinators and team administration colleagues.You will be committed to team work, delivering high quality patient care and have a desire for on-going professional development.
This is an opportunity to work within knowledgeable experienced teams and wider MDT.You should be flexible, motivated and able to work within a changing environment.
We will provide support through in-house professional forums, Mandatory training, 1:1 and personal development meetings as well as clinical rolling skills training via the practice development facilitators.

Person Specification Qualification Essential RN Qualification (Part 1 of register) or equivalent Current NMC registration Desirable Leg Ulcer Management IV Administration / cannulatio ENB 998/mentorship preparation or equivalent Mentorship qualification is essential for the post, but not essential at interview.
Previous experience working in the community Skills Essential Able to provide high standards of care Leadership Skills IT and standard keyboard skills Car owner/driver/access to a motor vehicle (role will involve travel to other sites that cannot be easily accessed by public transport means)
