Blandford Community Mental Health team seeks a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner .As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care delivery which considers people's safety, privacy, and dignity.
You will provide interventions, assessments, and treatments, manage patients on a caseload and plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.
You will work within a supportive established integrated multi-disciplinary team.
This team is made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurse prescriber, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Workers, OTs, Support Time Recovery Workers and Psychologists.
Applications from candidates that require visa sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position Main duties of the job The Community Mental Health Practitioner role is full-time Monday to Friday and based in Blandford and covers the surrounding villages.
You will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as you will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.We welcome informal discussions and visits.
