Job responsibilitiesYou will be expected to: Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.Participate in the local Child Protection rota.Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.Person SpecificationGMCFull GMC registration with a licence to practiceCCTCCT or equivalentSpecialist RegisterInclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCSTDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
