Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Workerto join the Community Children's Learning DisabilityService's.The successful candidate will have a experience in supporting children with learning disabilities.This is a part time role for a week.
Our service hours are Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
Main duties of the job Working closely with ourRegistered Learning DisabilityNursesin the region of Bath and North East Somerset.Youll support the nurses with meeting theneeds of the children with learning disabilities.
This will include supporting with admin tasks, supporting the nurses with observations inhome visits or educational settings.
Supporting families with advice, resources and care plans written by the nurses as appropriate.Working within a hub, hybrid or school environment.Youll care for childrenand their families in the way thatyou believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing bestpractice, and actively improving the way we work.
You will need to raise all care matters relating to the child and family and follow all safeguarding procedures.Our teams arebased at St Martins BA2 will be an expectation to be able travel to home visits, school locations as required across BaNES.
Mileage is paid.
