Qualifications Needed:Full GMC registration with a licence to practiceCCT or equivalentSection 12 Approval or eligibility for itApproved Clinician status, or eligibility for itInclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCSTMain Duties of the Job:You will be expected to: Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to patients with eating disorders across all ages, although more focus on the adult patientsProvide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical casesProvide guidance and supervision to the team, work directly with adults (and their families), and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers, and acute hospitalsWork alongside another Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, 2.8wte CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists, 0.4wte Paediatrician, and 0.6wte CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service, and will share supervision requirements for junior doctors in the serviceFurther develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards, in order to continually improve our servicesBe responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver careSupport their peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative and supervise junior colleaguesCommitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agenciesTo be successful in your application, you will need:To demonstrate that your values are in line with that of NELFT's valuesTo be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Adult Eating DisordersEssential understanding of current developments in mental health careTo be a team playerCareer Development and Training:We offer a Just & Compassionate Culture, award-winning Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, and various employee benefits including:
