Community Care Assistant/Coordinator Care Duties: - Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry - help in arranging client appointments and outings - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Coordinator Duties: 'This will be secondary to providing primary care to clients as these coordinator duties will be shared' - Manage rotas and shift allocation/fulfilment - Staffing levels maintenance - Organise an manage updates to compliance and competencies - Telephone support, including participating in on-call rota.
Qualifications: - Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred - Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively - Compassionate and patient demeanor A good understanding of CQC expected standards and care delivery is essential.
