You have experience working within a Social Care setting and are familiar with IT systems or financial knowledge as required.

What the Job Involves Provide high-quality and comprehensive technical and administrative support to the team or service.
Deliver an effective, efficient, and customer-focused service in accordance with Corporate Policies and legislative requirements.
Apprise and modify practices based on developments in the professional field to ensure service excellence.
Assist with induction of new staff and on-the-job training of colleagues.
Offer technical advice and guidance to customers, maintaining a professional image and high standard of service, including servicing and maintenance of lifting equipment.
Manage technical customer inquiries, ensuring resolution and updating stakeholders with proper audit trails as per Council procedures.
Administer Council application processes for service areas, ensuring validity, fees administration, and requisite advisories.
Liaise with internal/external parties, handle specialized advice relevant to the service area, and manage responses accordingly.
Facilitate management and statistical audits and provide committee and partner reports when required.
Manage administrative and information systems, ensuring document management and retention adherence.
Participate in team meetings, produce written records, and ensure action completion within agreed timescales.
Contribute to project team efforts, aiding in work stream delivery and ensuring project success.
Assist with monitoring/procuring goods, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and resolving supply-related queries.
Manage and organize personal caseloads, adjusting targets/deadlines as needed by new demands.
Support managers in carrying out health and safety audits, maintaining safe public meeting environments.
Conduct all duties in line with Council Policies and Procedures, adapting to service needs including potential cross-service work.
Maintain strong internal and external relationships with customers/carers, occupational therapy teams, hospital teams, housing, contractors, and voluntary sectors.
