Communications Coordinator (Part Time) Hours: 16 hours per week (Flexible) Salary: £24,000 per year based on a 35 hour week (Pro Rata) Location: Remote We need a master communicator with a creative spark and an eye for detail.

From managing our website and crafting marketing materials to planning e-shots and social media campaigns, you'll be at the heart of how we communicate who we are and what we do.

Job Description: · Maintain and update contact database (IMiS - CRM system) · Good writing skills · Ensure good communications of all member benefits · Plan all member communications (Sector news, e-shots and mail-merges, social media) using MailChimp · Create e-shots for forthcoming events and activities · Brand management – create new marketing collateral and materials · Research, collate and produce reports for internal team and strategy meetings.
Contribute to membership strategy at these meetings.
· Maintain and assist with membership to special interest groups, liaising with Steering Group volunteers, facilitating events and disseminating necessary materials · Support with implementation of specific marketing activities relevant to membership · Contribute to production of written materials for web site and promotional documentation · Update information on the website, ensuring it's kept up to date and relevant · Be an active contributor to the regular PARN team and strategy meetings · Take an interest in and have knowledge of PARN strategy, business and financial objectives and performance · Proofread reports and communications from across the team Person Specification At PARN we understand that the right person might not always have the right experience, so if you don't meet all the requirements please don't be put off · Excellence in written and verbal communications · Experience managing websites using a Content Management System · Experience in generating content for marketing campaigns · Experience of managing contact lists · Self starter with strong organisational skills · Excellent eye for detail · Computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft Office packages You will need the right to work in the UK, due to the nature of the role applications from overseas will not be considered.

Offering expertise, experience and perspective on key issues in the sector, PARN develops research, provide bespoke services, networking opportunities, events and training for the professional body sector.
PARN has around 100 Professional Body Members mostly in the UK It operates a rolling monthly membership cycle and a busy calendar of meetings, events and training courses aimed at both members and non member professional bodies.
We hold a number of events and meetings each year in London.
There will be some requirement to attend these (no more than 3 a year), but only by prior arrangement.
