The Role: The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the firm's external communications strategy.
This position is instrumental in enhancing the firm's global presence and reputation through strategic media relations, impactful communications campaigns, and meticulous brand management.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Communication Development: The candidate will design and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the firm's business objectives and elevate its reputation.
Media Relations Management: They will cultivate and manage relationships with key media contacts and influencers, developing and executing media outreach strategies to enhance the firm's visibility and thought leadership within the legal and business communities.
Content Creation: The role involves crafting high-quality press releases, media statements, and other external communication materials, driving tactical news, thought leadership, and market commentary opportunities for the firm's market-leading spokespeople.
Campaign Planning and Oversight: The candidate will lead and oversee external communications campaigns from conception through execution and evaluation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns align with the firm's strategic goals and deliver measurable impact.
Brand Image Management: They will maintain and enhance the firm's brand image across all external platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and adherence to brand guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement: The candidate will collaborate with practice area leaders and other senior stakeholders to align external communications efforts with the firm's strategic priorities, providing counsel and support for high-profile matters and media training for key spokespeople.
Performance Measurement: They will develop and track metrics to assess the effectiveness of external communications initiatives, providing regular reports and insights on media coverage, campaign performance, and brand perception.
