The Opportunity We are thrilled to partner exclusively with Prostate Cancer UK to recruit a Communications Business Partner for their Communications directorate, working closely with their Mass Fundraising teams.
This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support Individual Giving and Events & Community Fundraising.
As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns & Brand team, you'll enable the integration of mass fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.
Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns & Brand in embedding and developing our Business Partnering model.
A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of Mass Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.
This is a 6-month FTC, starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders to shape and execute mass fundraising communication plans that deliver strategic outcomes.
Collaborate across teams to integrate mass fundraising efforts into Prostate Cancer UK's wider communications strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment.
Lead the development of innovative marketing campaigns, leveraging PR tactics to engage large volumes of new and existing supporters, supporting the success of products that engage and inspire large volumes of new and existing customers to donate to Prostate Cancer UK's cause Provide strategic oversight for communication projects, ensuring they are well-planned, resourced, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Use data-driven insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, driving continuous improvement and future success.
Act as a liaison between communications and fundraising teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of efforts.
Contribute to building an inclusive and supportive workplace culture while promoting collaboration across teams.
The Ideal Candidate Proven expertise in communications business partnering, with experience in mass or public fundraising.
Strong understanding of campaign planning tools like OASIS and a solid grasp of PR, social media, and integrated marketing strategies.
Demonstrated success managing high-impact communication projects within a fundraising or similar environment.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences in particular mass fundraising engagement.
Experience of successfully building trust and connection with community groups, ideally including knowledge of reaching, engaging and activating high risk communities.
A natural collaborator, skilled in coaching and motivating teams to achieve ambitious results.
Expertise in project management, with a background in sales or marketing is considered a strong advantage.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
