Commissioning Supervisor - Onshore Wind Projects - Scotland TGRC is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Supervisor to oversee our onshore wind projects in Scotland. This contract role is an excellent opportunity for professionals specializing in wind energy to contribute to the growth and efficiency of renewable energy initiatives.
Role Overview As a Commissioning Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commissioning process for onshore wind projects. This includes overseeing the installation, testing, and operational handover of wind turbines and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure that all technical specifications are met and that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities Oversee and manage the commissioning of onshore wind energy projects.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during the commissioning phase.
Conduct system tests to verify the correct operation of wind turbines and associated equipment.
Manage troubleshooting and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all commissioning activities.
Provide training and support to operations teams post-commissioning.
Qualifications Proven experience as a Commissioning Supervisor in the wind energy sector.
Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and infrastructure.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project timelines.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
Contract Details Location: Scotland
Contract Duration: 12 months
Day Rate: £500 per day
