Commissioning Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading manufacturer in Leeds that is looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Lead/Commissioning Engineer to join their business.
Days only Salary – Up to £39,000 The Lead/Commissioning Engineer will carry out commissioning on installs on and off-site, carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance and respond to plant breakdowns.
Duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include: Ensure commissioning records and results are kept up to date; Ensure defects are categorised & attended to Use engineering machines to remanufacture parts Ensuring continuous improvement across the business Accurate reporting of mechanical breakdowns and spares used Carry out daily/weekly/monthly PM's, reducing downtime Improve efficiency on existing machines We are keen to speak with Lead/Commissioning Engineers with the following; City & Guilds trained/qualified mechanical Apprentice-trained or time-served Experience with the implementation of FAT and SAT's Able to read electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic technical drawings Computer skills for recording/production of data PLC would be desirable but not essential This role would suit someone who has an enthusiastic and flexible approach, can work independently and can self-manage your time during the working day.
